Here are some helpful care tips to ensure your flowers stay fresh and delightful for as long as possible.

Unpacking

Unpack and Inspect

  • Carefully remove flowers from the shipping box.

  • Check for any damage or signs of wilting.

Rehydrate Immediately

  • Place flowers in a clean pail filled with fresh, cool water.

  • Strip any leaves that will sit below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth and extend flower life.

Storage & Displaying

Temperature Control

  • Store most flowers at 34–38°F (1–3°C).

  • Tropical flowers should be stored warmer, at 55–65°F (13–18°C).

Humidity

  • Maintain high humidity (ideally 75–85%) to prevent wilting.

Avoid Ethylene Exposure

  • Keep flowers away from ripening fruit and vegetables, which release ethylene gas that accelerates aging.

Sunlight & Heat

  • Avoid direct sunlight, heaters, vents, and drafts, all of which dehydrate and damage flowers.

Cleanliness

  • Use clean pails and fresh water to minimize bacteria growth.

Arranging in Display

  • Place flowers in pails with space between bunches.

  • Use half the number of bunches per pail as shipped to avoid crowding and allow for easy customer access.
