Planting Line
The planting line positions involve planting the tulip bulbs in honey-comb like trays called smak baks while also grading out poor quality bulbs.
Planting works 6 days a week, starting at 7 am. Planting
wraps up in March.
We are always accepting resumes. If you are interested in working for Jarja Floral, please send us your resume. We are prepping for season to start again in December. Most of our positions end in May.
Bunching Line
Our bunching line takes the flowers from individual tulips on bulbs to beautiful bouquets. The bunching line works six days a week, 7 am, up to 6 pm. depending on volume.
Packing Line
Our packing line prepares and boxes our cut flowers for shipping. It is located in our cooler set at 1 degree Celsius to preserve the freshness of the flowers.
Packing works day shifts, no Sundays, Packers average 35+ hours a week on regular weeks and work extra hours in the two weeks before a holiday,
